Dear Thomas,

Thank you very much for your kindness in writing me on August 28, 2006. I enjoyed being at the St.
Stephen's liturgical celebration and the Church picnic.

I am very happy that things are beginning to change for you and that the Cambridge Minnesota Isanti
Active Living by Design and the Cambridge Campus of Anoka Ramsey County Community College have
made statements that show due respect for Native Americans. That is the way it should be.

You have worked a great deal on this subject and I send you congratulations and gratitude.

With every good wish, I remain

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Most Reverend Harry J. Flynn, D.D.
Archbishop of Saint Paul and Minneapolis
