Amazon Synod: Pope Francis' Emerging Hippie Spiritual Philosophy

by Thomas Ivan Dahlheimer

Here I present my critical commentary on an article about the Roman Catholic Church's Amazon Synod, entitled: Transformation Complete: Mother Church is now Mother Earth — By Jackie Alnor

Pope Francis blessed indigenous people's 'Pachamama' (Mother Earth) statue before opening Amazon synod.

Here I first present several quotes from the article.

“Once again the request was heard in the Synod hall to be constantly aware of the suffering of the indigenous population who have a sovereign right to exist in the Amazon. Discovering the seeds of the word of God in the cultures and traditions of the region means recognizing that Christ already lives in the peoples who have not yet heard the Gospel. The Gospel, in fact, is not the exclusive patrimony of any one culture.”

"This idea underscores what the current pope has been saying since he first took office as lightening struck St. Peters Cathedral in Rome. Namely, that God speaks to people in every religion in the world – each one gets a little piece of divine revelation and if all religions unite, all humankind will be as one. (Queue up John Lennon’s Imagine.)"

"Traditionalist Catholic, Michael Matt, editor of the conservative Catholic publication, The Remnant Newspaper, wrung his hands over what he saw as a blatant take-over of Satan over his beloved ‘Mother Church.’ In a recent podcast he titled ‘Hippies in the Vatican,’ he said: All we hear here in Rome is, become environmentally conscientious and awake — that’s the most important thing. Heaven is replaced now with our common home. When they talk about common home, they refer to it almost in reverential terms. We must know, love and serve Mother Earth... Like it’s sacred, like it’s pantheism or something... - the world that has rejected Christ and has co-opted this Synod and the entire Church in an effort to create the impression now that Christ Himself – this is where the blasphemy comes in – that Christ Himself, this new christ is blessing and approving of the entire masonic agenda of the One World Religion and the New World Order.”

"Pope Francis is creating that new global religion. He has set up his own hand-picked school of cardinals who are a rubber-stamp board for him to get away with this final transformation of the Mother Church."

“They don’t realize how passé you [Pope Francis] have become’ how much you are the sort of stereotypical hippie, the aging hippie that’s just lost track. It’s not groovy anymore… They changed the words; they changed the vocabulary. Mother Church, for example. She has become Mother Earth.”

"This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius" ... "Age of Aquarius"

My commentary: Two Pontifical Councils produced a joint document on the New Age (or Age of Aquarius), wherein they wrongly claim that the New Age substitutes God the Father [Heaven] with Gaia/Pachamama/Mother Earth [Earth]. These pontifical council's
got it wrong, as have all of the other leading Christian opponents of the New Age. New Agers actually believe that Mother Earth is less-than-divine and we (New Agers) honor her. The ultimate goal of New Agers is to become One with the "unqualified Absolute, the transcendent Father beyond creation." This quote about the "transcendent Father" is from a book that many believe is the hippie Bible, it's titled: Autobiography of a Yogi - by Paramahansa Yogananda. The Roman Catholic Church is actually moving in the direction of fully accepting and promoting the hippie New Age spiritual philosophy.

I agree with Mr. Matt, Pope Francis is already "the sort of stereotypical hippie" and is "the Vicar of the
Antichrist." However, unlike Matt, I believe that the Jesus Christ of traditional Christianity is anti-Christ in respect to what the Church teaches about His supposed mission, and that the end-time "Antichrist," mentioned in the Bible, is actually a good person who is promoting Jesus Christ's true mission-to help each of us (if we have not already attained enlightenment) experience our own divinity.

My hippie New Age spiritual philosophy (or essentially Hindu/Buddhist spiritual philosophy with a little Gnostic "Christianity" added to it) mission is opposed to traditional Christianity's mission. My mission is to totally replace traditional Christianity with the hippie New Age spiritual philosophy.

More on the Pachamama (Mother Earth) topic:

In the spirituality of the millennia-old religions of Central and South America, the name of Mother Earth is Pachamama, the goddess of fertility. She is revered as the goddess who presides over planting and harvesting, embodies the mountains and causes earthquakes.

She is, in short, the giver of life, and the source of the earth, sun, moon and water. And she is not just a conceptual entity, a poetic name for creation, like Americans refer to "Mother Nature."

Pachamama is seen as a conscious personal being. Sacrifices are made to her.

Hindus and New Agers believe that Mother Earth is a less-than-divine being and that the earth was directly created by God, and that "Spirit existed before God. God is the Creator of the universe, but Spirit is the Creator of God," as stated by Paramahansa Yogananda, the father of yoga in the West and confirmed by both, Helena Blavatsky, the mother of the New Age Movement and David Spangler, one of the founding figures of the modern New Age Movement.

Mr. Spangler wrote: "The idea of a world soul, an anima mundi, a planetary Logos, is an ancient one found in both Eastern and Western culture. The world soul is usually conceived as a "formative force," an active, intelligent, purposeful spiritual presence at work in the material world to guide and guard the course of planetary evolution. It is generally not accorded the status of being the ultimate source, or Creator [or Spirit, the indirect Creator of the universe], but might be looked upon as a great angelic or archangelic being [or God after She sinned and became a less-than-divine god, the direct creator of the universe] presiding over the well being of the world, or the gestalt, the wholeness of all the lives and patterns that manifest upon, and as, the earth."

In other words, God sinned, which cause Her to became a god who now manifests as the
less-than-divine Mother Earth. Today, many believe that Mother Mary and Pachamama syncretized as one entity currently personifies this god or "formative force".

Mother Mary "presiding over
the well being of the world."

Pachamama "presiding over
the well being of the world."

Wikipedia says: Many rituals related to the Pachamama are practiced in conjunction with those of Christianity, to the point that many families are simultaneously Christian and pachamamistas. Pachamama is sometimes syncretized as the Virgin of Candelaria [who is the Roman Catholic Church's Virgin Mary].

After being conquered by Spain in the 16th century, the Indigenous population was converted to Spain’s official religion: Catholicism.

But the coerced conversion was met by rejection by the local people and the conquerors decided to mix the figure of their Virgin Mary to unite with the Pachamama to ease the transition.

Virgin Mary/Pachamama Syncretism

By identifying her in a transformed syncretized way as Mother Mary, Pachamama (Mother Earth) has become less-than-divine for many families in Central and South America-and wherever else in the Americas where Hispanic culture flourishes. These families worship "Our Father in Heaven" who is the unqualified Absolute, the transcendent Spirit beyond creation and honor Pachamama/the Virgin Mary/the world soul/Mother-Earth. These families, like the Hindus and New Agers, honor Mother Earth as a less-than-divine being.

Will the entire Roman Catholic Church soon be transformed so that all of its members practice their faith in the same way as do many Central and South American Catholics - and do so, by adopting this syncretism of the Virgin Mary and Pachamama aspect of a Hispanic cultural expression of the Catholic faith? I believe it will. The salvation of our Earth's life supporting ecosystem depends on it

A related Youtube.com video:

In this video Michael Matt falsely claims that Pope Francis believes in and is promoting the United Nations mission to lead the entire world to accept a One World Religion and New World Order wherein "the worship of Mother Earth is going to replace the worship of God." This is the theology and worldview of traditional Catholics who are of a radical type of traditionalist Catholicism. And it is also the theology and worldview of the leading Protestant opponents of the New Age.

Mr. Matt is in good standing with Bishop Athanasius Schneider. Matt recently interviewed him. Bishop Schneider is a highly respected prelate who is occasionally interviewed on EWTN, an American-based, global television network. He is a renowned leader of a traditionalist Catholic movement that is opposed to mainstream Catholicism, which is believed to be following: (1.) the non-heretical, but erroneous, dictates of some Vatican II documents, and (2.) the current pope's questionably-heretical teachings that have significantly changed the mission of the church.

The statement in the video wherein Mr. Matt states that Pope Francis will ["if all goes well"] lead the members of his church (with the exception of a resistant remnant of true Catholics) to a radically transformed expression of the faith, wherein "the worship of Mother Earth is going to replace the worship of God" is unrealistic, and is so, because a six-year study by the Roman Catholic Church on the New Age Movement, a study that was published as an official church document in 2003, states that there is a deceptive global movement that is attempting to convert the entire world to accept Mother Earth as an alternative to God the Father and that Catholics are to resist it.

The Roman Catholic Church document on the New Age Movement states: (1.) The New Age Movement presents itself as a deceptive response to the most ancient hope of man: the hope of a New Era of peace, harmony, reconciliation with himself, others and nature." And that (2.) "Gaia", Mother Earth, is offered as an alternative to God the Father,... [Mother Earth, or] the God of which New Age speaks is neither personal nor transcendent. Nor is it the Creator and sustainer of the universe, but an 'impersonal energy' immanent in the world, with which it forms a 'cosmic unity': 'All is one'. This unity is monistic, pantheistic or, more precisely, panentheistic. [Mother Earth, or] God is the "life-principle", the "spirit or soul of the world", the sum total of consciousness existing in the world."

It is ridiculous for Matt and others who have similar theological worldviews to believe that Pope Francis is attempting to convert the church and the entire world to what an official church document condemned in 2003.

The New Age actually believes in the "unqualified Absolute, the transcendent Father beyond creation" and that He is the ultimate source, or Creator of the universe. And the New Age also believes in Mother Earth, the less-than-divine world soul, or "the gestalt, the wholeness of all the lives and patterns that manifest upon, and as, the earth."

The earth and the whole cosmos does not appear as it actually is to the unenlightened. The illusory material universe is therefore a less-than-divine god, known as Mother Earth. To the enlightened the whole cosmos actually appears as it is, an essentially undifferenated mass of light. This mass of light forms a divine 'cosmic unity': 'All is one'. This divine unity is monistic, pantheistic or, more precisely, panentheistic. The goal of true New Agers is to first become One with the divine monistic manifestation of G/god or the U/universe and then go thought It to ultimately become One with God, the transcendent Father, or Spirit, beyond creation. Pope Francis is not leading the entire world to Mother Earth worship. He is becoming a true New Ager who honors Mother Earth and worships God the Father.

When Jesus Christ was experiencing Himself as the divine monistic manifestation of the U/universe He said: "The only way to the Father is through me." There is a large global movement whose adherents's ultimate goal is to become One with the divine monistic manifestation of G/god or the U/universe, they are not New Agers as the Roman Catholic Church mistakenly claims.

Michael Matt and other leaders of traditionalist Catholics who have similar worldviews as Matt have on-line videos about their work and missions. The following links go to their videos:
(1.), (2.), (3.) and (4.).

In a video by Michael Matt titled
"POPE SACHS CHURCH: Vatican Embraces United Nations Goals" there is a frame that presents a picture of John Lennon. The picture covers the entire background of the frame. A small picture of Pope Francis is presented in front of Lennon's picture. The words [Imagine THAT!] are also presented in the frame.

The National Catholic Register and EWTN are promoting a two-Bishops lead vile campaign against Pope Francis and the direction that the Amazon synod is taking the church. In a National Catholic Reporter article, titled "Amazon synod has set Pope Francis' professional haters on edge," its author, Michael Sean Winters, wrote: Cardinal Raymond Burke and Kazakhstan Auxiliary Bishop Athanasius Schneider were leading a "pack," or "campaign," against the pope and the Amazon synod's working document. In the article, Mr. Winters also wrote: In this internet age, an auxiliary bishop from Kazakhstan can make a splash, but the particular vehicle for Burke's and Schneider's vile insinuations is the National Catholic Register, an arm of EWTN.

On Nov. 5, 2019, Fr. Mitch Pacwa, condemned idolatry on his weekly program on EWTN, Scripture and Tradition.  He spends about 10 minutes talking about the [Pachamama] idols that were praised and blessed at the Synod on the Amazon in the Vatican. He said the bishops conference of Italy published a prayer to Pachamama (Mother Earth). He also said: "this is New Age like thinking that goes back to the 1970s."  Wikipedia says: "From a historical perspective, the New Age phenomenon is rooted in the counterculture of the 1960s." The Beatles' promotion of Hinduism "kick-started the Human Potential Movement that subsequently became New Age." Before the New Age became popular in the 1970s, "the terms New Age  and Age of Aquarius were used [in the 1960s counterculture] to refer to a coming era."

In the early 1970s, I prophesied to family and friends that the Roman Catholic Church was going to accept the hippie spiritual philosophy. And I have continued to prophecy this to family and friends-right up to this present day. It is all coming together now, just as I had predicted.

Another article of mine about this topic is titled Mother Earth: Catholic Church's Emerging Acceptance Of New Age Spirituality.

Another related article of mine is titled Pope Francis Preaches Eco-Tribalist/Hippie New Age Beliefs

In a November 8, 2019, LifeSiteNews article titled "Amazonian woman who led Vatican tree-planting ceremony reveals its pagan significance" there is a statement that reads: The female indigenous leader who planted a tree alongside Pope Francis in the Vatican Gardens ahead of the Amazon Synod was clear from the beginning about the syncretistic and pagan meaning of the act." She said: "To plant ... is believing in a growing and fruitful life to satisfy the hunger of Mother Earth’s creation. This brings us to our origin by reconnecting divine energy and teaching us the way back to the Creator Father.”

Dr. Taylor Marshall video: According to Archbishop Vigano and Dr. Marshall, Vatican II influenced a particular 1968 progressive development (in France) of the 1960s hippie revolution. When Pope Benedict XVI was still a Cardinal, he said that this 1968 progressive development "inaugurated a new epic of Chrisianity." Vigano and Marshall believe the 1960s youth revolution continues today in the Church and in Society, and that it aims, with the leadership of Pope Francis and potentially Joe Biden (if he becomes president) to usher in the New Age (the "hippie Age of Aquarius") and the New World Order.
